Be a part of the largest organic conference in Eastern Canada, taking place in Charlottetown this year from November 22-24! With over 500 attendees in 2011, ACORN’s conference is the gathering place for organic farmers, supporters, businesses and more! There are many ways to participate–by attending our workshops (over 55!), volunteering, taking part in our free Seedy Saturday (seed swapping!) event or celebrating local food by joining us for a delicious 100% organic banquet! We are also having a kick-off celebration at The Mack with an incredible panel of Canadian advocates against Genetically Modified Organisms, including Lucy Sharratt (Canadian Biotechnology Action Network), Dr. E. Ann Clark (Associate Professor with U. of Guelph, now retired to farm), and Beth McMahon (Canadian Organic Growers)–this will be an amazing event!
